Enterprise-wide Energy Consumption Capture and Monitoring Service
PMEI’s Building Energy Monitoring Service © (BEMS) accesses and displays data on energy consuming sources by linking to meters and environmental sensors. BEMS can be configured to meet specific needs including support for LEED Platinum Certification. BEMS is offered under a Service Level Agreement (SLA). Key features include:
- Meets legislative, Executive, and DOE orders to monitor and reduce consumption
- Measurement of energy consumption, of electricity, gases, liquids and environmental factors
- Data accuracy, reliability detection of anomalies, and notification of correction needed
- Contemporaneous performance tracking of local and enterprise goals (including ESPCs)
- Transparent transition from manual reporting system
- Extensible to Federal, State, or commercial enterprises
- Accurate data for annual reports to Congress and corporate annual reports and filings
- Simulation of site performance to project future energy costs and trade-offs (consumption and performance simulation tools to assist with capital outlays and energy source selection decisions)
- Direct interface to EPA’s Portfolio Manager with dynamic Energy Star score verification
- EDI interface to utility service provider billing systems
- EFT payments via U.S. Treasury IPP system or via bank EFT (ACH)
